MOVIE REVIEW: Paul (LEAVE COMMENTS PLEASE!!!)

The comedy film starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (Shaun of the Dead) as Graeme and Clive, two English sci-fi nerds on a quest across America to see all the UFO "Hot Spots" across America. After our stars of the film, one comic Writer and one Cartoonist, the venture East to star their journey. During one night in the journey they encounter several characters. They come into contact with the unthinkable.... an actual alien....by the name of Paul. The duo decide to help Paul get to his destination as he runs from an agency trying to re-capture him. The movie has some really funny moments and has an original twists on a alien movndie. Paul is a smart-ass, brilliant, laid back pothead! As our duo and extraterrestrial go about their adventure the come across a few funny obstacles and I enjoyed it. It was kind of if a group of comedians re-wrote "E.T." with out all the horrible dramatic scenes that scared children (Thanks Speilberg! I'm still in therapy!") and added in a mix of ridiculousness and hilarity. Seth Rogen does a wonderful job in the voice acting and I would recommend this as a rental movie for a night needing entertainment.

I give this movie a 2.5 out of 5 for its comedy value and the arguments of the "start of mankind" scene that stuck out to me. It was funny and it served its purpose....to entertain! Go see it, Rent it, Illegally download it, or whatever you do but its worth a watch!
