MOVIE REVIEW: HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON

I saw this movie as well and expected your typically story about a kid that finally come into his own from being an outcast and got so much more entertainment that I ever expected. I must admit I enjoyed this movie as if I were a kid myself! Hiccup the main kid in the movie is played by Jay Burachel (also know as the lead guy from Shes Outta My League) and he is a skinny, accident prone little kid surrounded by strong dangerous dragon battling Vikings. Obviously the outcasted underdog of the story gets lucky in a dragon fight and takes a dangerous dragon right out of the sky! He finds the dragon in a small canyon and cant bring himself to kill the creature that his people are raised to hate so much. You find yourself taken on a sweet, childish, playful journey as you see the dragon and the kid bond. Hiccup and the dragon (now named Toothless) are brought into a bind when Hiccups father and Head Viking has vowed to kill all dragons and finally after years of hunting find the dragon nest. Hiccup is lined up to become a true viking and placed into a dragon slaying course. Through his free time with Toothless he learns that dragons really arent that bad and learns so much from his friend Toothless that he excels in the class without hurting a single dragon! The great plan backfires when he is eventually rewarded for his success in killing a dragon in front of his father and the entire Viking community.

I enjoyed the movie and thought the writing along with great cast including: Craig Ferguson, America Ferrera, Jonah Hill, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Kristen Wiig, and many more will grab you deep into the story and keep you intrigued!

if you have kids or are just an adult looking for fun and not too much heavy dialogue. This is a great film! One of the best Ive seen in a long time for kiddie type movies! Predictable but still feeling entertained.

I give this a "Give me a $10 popcorn and a $5 soda" because you should see this at the movies!!!

All ages/Children- 5 outta 5 stars!
