MOVIE REVIEW: Let Me In (Leave Comments!!!)

This thriller remake of Swedish "Let The Right One In" directed by Matt Reeves is a story based on a boy named Owen (Kodi Smit-Mcphee) who lives with his drunken divorced mother played by Cara Buono. The boy is a hardcore loner in an ugly Silver puffed jacket and spends his nights inthe snowy courtyard behind their apartment. Outside he meets his new neighbor Abby a girl thats kindof awkwardly there and never wearing shoes in the snow. Now that alone would be a extreme sign that I shouldnt be talking to you! The story develops as the two children get closer and Abby opens up from her "We can never be friends" personality. The story starts its dark twist when "the father" goes out and flat out murders a young man in a Scarecrow-like mask from the new Batman movies. The fathers murder scenes in the movie were my favorite part of the movie! They were very suspenseful and unpredictable.

So with the pending craziness and high schoolers just disappearing a Police Office Played by an old Kasey Jones from Ninja Turtles (Elias Koteas) investigates the murders that lead him to the apartment complex with two children.

The movie main story is focused around the girl and her needing to survive. Im not going to ruin how this little demon girl survives but she is crazy as all hell and the little lonely kid just cant get enough of finally having a friend. Having a crush on a psychotic, bare-footed, looking like death little girl is most likely not in your childhood memories either! This twisted thriller gives some great gore with the good blood and not that Cheap CGI blood either! A good plot to keep you interested as well.

I give this film 3 1/2 outta 4 "This little bitch is crazy's!!!"
